Our mission is to extend the time persons 65 and over can remain in their homes.
All people 65 and over benefit from our free non-medical support and strong social connections to extend the time they remain in their homes. We are a preferred option for volunteering and charitable giving.
Providing companionship, help, and solace to the aging is our main objective. We also provide monthly educational presentations for our volunteers, informing them of local and national resources. We collaborate with other agencies and do not duplicate services.

Our Community Cares, formerly Wellington Cares, was founded in 2010 by Kathy Foster, founding mayor of the Village of Wellington. She became acutely aware that resources were lacking to enable seniors to stay in their homes as they age, especially when experiencing minor health-related setbacks.
The organization began serving persons 65 and over in the Village of Wellington and expanded in 2020 to assist residents 65+ in Royal Palm Beach. Since inception, the organization has provided more than $1 MILLION DOLLARS in free support.
Please get in touch with us if you know a senior living in Wellington or Royal Palm Beach who would benefit from our services.
If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering, please visit our volunteer page to learn more about what our volunteers do.
